We subcontract to various Steel fabricators and have 3 Tekla licences
Most of our work has been mining related, conveyors and Transfer towers.
Recent work includes Sump support structures for Batemans
gantries and conveyors for Viva Engineering and Moco steel.
We have also detailed shopping centres.
Heather Salinger
has worked on the drawing board for many years before starting on Strucad in
1993. She is now
using Tekla to detail.
The efficiency of a 3D
modelling system saves the client time and money. Models can be uploaded to a
secure web site for approval purposes. An engineer can review a model using clip
planes, then save and red line mark up. The multiuser environment enables
several
draughtspersons to work together on a model. This increases productivity.
DSTV and CNC files are available and the software
can be used in conjunction with a material tracking system. The models can be
integrated into BIM technology
